However you may not be aware of the offerings of Melbourne comic book stores in relation to this event. I’ve been the last three years, and I went again this year. So here’s my wrap up on what my brother and I found on our travels to Melbourne CBD’s comic book stores.

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you might be aware that my friends & I have seen each of The Hobbit movies as they’ve been released over the last few years. So it’s no surprise that we went and saw the last of the trilogy a few weeks ago, on release day. And although it was a welcome conclusion to the series, for me, it was the weakest of the set.
As I write this now, I’m already keenly aware that the number of people who will read this is going to be tiny. Much less even is the number of people who will actually read this post all the way to the end. And yet, I’m somehow not deterred. I’m still determined to post. So why do I even bother?
As a programmer, it’s often tempting to try and solve your problems by writing programs, rather than hunting for solutions written by others. But that doesn’t mean you don’t want to share them, and hopefully help someone else, like I did with MessagePop, and like I’m doing again with this new program I’ve written called wpTracker.
