For the second time since their big hiatus, Garbage has released a new album. And just like last time, it totally snuck up on me. So after a time of avoidance, focused listening, and carefully consideration, I have a mixture of thoughts in the form of this review.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you might be aware that my friends & I have seen each of The Hobbit movies as they’ve been released over the last few years. So it’s no surprise that we went and saw the last of the trilogy a few weeks ago, on release day. And although it was a welcome conclusion to the series, for me, it was the weakest of the set.
As a John Green fan, and someone who originally pre-ordered and read TFIOS, I felt it necessary to see the new movie adaptation. So, a few nights ago I went, on my own, to see it. And even though it’s been out for a while, and everyone and their dog has reviewed it (even if they haven’t seen it), here I present to you my opinion, just in case it matters.
As a tech-head and hacking culture enthusiast, I’ve been waiting with bated breath for Watch_Dogs ever since I heard the concept: a sandbox Chicago where you play as a hacker who leverages the world around him with his hacking skills. However, when Ubisoft released the system requirement for it, I realised I would be waiting a bit longer if I wanted to actually play it. So I made it my mission to find a bunch of games that I could play without upgrading my PC that would give me some of that Watch_Dogs experience.

As a Win8 user, I updated to Win8.1 months ago and since 8.1.1 is suppose to come out in a few weeks, I ought to tell you what I think of plain ol’ Win8.1 before then.

Because I didn’t really know much about this movie going into it, and enjoyed it so much, I’ve got a review for you of Pacific Rim. Like my last review, I actually saw this movie ages ago, but have been really lax in getting this review done for you, so here it finally is. BTW, It’s got a few spoilers, so watch out!
