For me, this year was the fifth Free Comic Book Day I’d been to, however for the people I went with, this was their first time. My four friends had all never been before, so I gave them the tour, and it didn’t exactly turn out as I expected.
For various reasons, mainly involving Uni, my brother and I were only able to get to two comic book stores this year on Free Comic Book Day: Minotaur and Classic Comics. Thus this won’t be a very comprehensive review like in previous years, just a quick rundown of what we found this year.

One of the most frustrating things when you’re just getting into buying comics, or if you’re only an occasional purchaser, is not knowing where all the comic book shops are and which have what (and at what price). That’s what this guide aims to clarify.
As I did last year, last week I went to Free Comic Book Day with Magdon (my brother), and even though we didn’t really have much time this year, I think we got an even better set of stuff than ever before.
