Because I’ve been a bit stressed and anxious about Uni starting this week, and the possibility of a new IT Support job, and we haven’t had internet for the last few days I haven’t really gotten round to writing a blog. So, here I present to you something a little different, but hopefully just as interesting and entertaining (or maybe even more so!).
So, I’ve bashed together a little set of haikus about my predicament this weekend and my dealings with our iISP in the hope of resolving it.
Internet is down,
Can’t fix it – call provider
Back on fast -good job!
Wake up Saturday,
Internet is gone again,
What is going on?
Waiting on the phone,
The solution eludes them,
And then it just works
But for a moment
Ring again, angry this time
“Nothing we can do”
So, no internet
I feel quite melancholy
Lack blog ideas
Brain, totally dry
Late Sunday and nothing still
Message says net fixed
But ours doesn’t work
Ring support, nice lady says
“Man yesterday wrong”
“Internet okay”
“Sorry about idiot”
“Have your money back”
Moral of the tale:
Ring again, may be better
They aren’t always right
