So, recently  the House asked us, the IT guys, to set up a standalone wireless network in a new building. The catch was this building is solid brick all the way though, and is quite long and narrow. This meant that the wireless needed to be quite powerful, with a good range to work across the whole building so people could roam with their devices without losing their connection. Not so easy.

So, a client came in the other day, saying that he couldn’t find a document that he had opened up from the internet, edited and then hit save. He hadn’t chosen where to save it, and had just assumed that it would be in his Documents folder. It wasn’t it was lost in the great labyrinth known as the Temporary Internet Files. I had a lot of trouble finding out how to get to them, even know I had had no trouble finding them previously in XP, because there was no clear, simple how-to on the internet. So here’s one for everyone else.
